CALL FOR PAPERS

The world of sports represent a growing market for innovating textile products! 
 

Therefore, Centexbel, the Belgian textile research centre, and Fedustria, the federation of the Belgian textile companies, have decided to organise an international congress on InnovaTIons In sporTs TexTIles in 2010. We kindly invite you to give a lecture at this international congress on your subject of expertise in one of the following fields:

• thermophysiological comfort of sportswear, gloves... 

• Fibre-reinforced composites for sports equipment: skateboards, golf clubs, sport fishing rods, boats, bikes, oars, bows... 

• safety and protection: skating rinks, sports helmets, kneecaps 

• sports infrastructure (fields, tents...) 

• technological developments in various sports articles: tennis strings & balls, tapes, nets, parapente, sails... 

• banners and flags around sports fields and halls 

• fibres, yarns, additives and post-treatment of sportswear ... 

Send a summary of your lecture before15/12/2009 (1 page A4) and your curriculum vitae to adg@centexbel.be and by 05/01/2010 we will inform you whether the scientific committee has selected your presentation for the congress. The definite abstract of your lecture (fixed layout) and your presentation are due before 01/05/2010.
